Chris Broad, also known as Abroad in Japan, and fellow British creator CDawgVA, embarked on a spectacular 14-day, 1,000-kilometer cyclethon from April 1 to April 14, 2024.

The journey began at the Kanmon Bridge in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, and passed through Hiroshima, Kobe, Osaka, Kyoto, and Nagoya, finally reaching Tokyo Tower. This grand cycling event was organized to raise funds for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

The initiative not only involved notable foreign creators active in Japan but also featured PewDiePie, the world's second most-subscribed individual YouTuber with 110 million followers. The cyclethon was live-streamed on Twitch, the largest live video streaming platform globally, drawing millions of viewers.

Thanks to the widespread enthusiasm, the fundraising campaign was a success, far surpassing the initial goal of $650,000 (approximately 100 million yen), and raising $1,061,100 (approximately 160 million yen).

All the funds raised are destined for donation to the Immune Deficiency Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at supporting individuals affected by Primary Immunodeficiency (PI).
